Tin Can Bay Attractions
One of the very special features of Tin Can Bay is the early morning dolphin feeding. It is one of only three locations around Australia where you can hand feed wild dolphins at the waters edge. This unique phenomenon attracts locals and visitors from far and wide. Dolphin feeding starts around 8am most mornings and you can hand feed our dolphins for a gold coin donation.
In addition to the dolphins, other Tin Can Bay attractions include sailing on the protected waters of the Inlet along with brilliant canoe trips along the estuaries throughout the water ways. Norman Point, a popular swimming and picnic area has facilities and ample parking at the boat ramp allowing access to the Inlet for pleasure craft. Or if you enjoy bird watching, you can view over 130 species of birds along the Environmental Walkway.
